MOVEMENT TRAINER
role summary
As a Movement Trainer you'll play a key role in how Assemble grows — delivering the training that equips people across the UK with the skills to run their own assemblies and get new local groups off the ground. You'll join a small, collaborative team, helping to develop and improve a programme that has already reached hundreds of people, with the opportunity to specialise in the trainings that suit you best and bring your own experience and creativity to the content.
What's involved
- Delivering interactive online training sessions via Zoom every two weeks across one or more of Assemble's four core trainings
- Helping run additional sessions for big events or as the movement needs
- Collaborating with the training team weekly to develop, improve, and expand the training programme

- Comfortable facilitating interactive online sessions via Zoom
- A strong communicator who can engage and inspire people from all walks of life
- A team player who enjoys collaborating and reflecting on what works
- Experienced in teaching, facilitation, or training - this is a bonus but not essential
Fundraiser
role summary
Fundraising is essential to everything Assemble does — from keeping the movement running day to day, to launching new assembly campaigns across the UK and building the House of the People. As a Fundraiser you'll work alongside our Fundraising Lead, getting stuck into a range of fundraising activities that keep Assemble resourced and growing. Previous fundraising experience is preferred, but drive and passion for the cause matter just as much.
What's involved
- Writing and running digital fundraising campaigns including crowdfunders, newsletter appeals, and social media fundraising posts
- Keeping our donation pages and fundraising materials accurate and up to date
- Supporting the writing and submission of grant applications
- Supporting donor relationship building and following up with past donors
- Helping with the planning and delivery of fundraising events
- Identifying and reaching out to potential new big donors
What we're looking for
We'd love to hear from you if you are:
- Passionate about Assemble's mission and the power of community-led change
- Personable and a confident communicator with strong writing skills
- Organised, detail-orientated, and able to manage your own workload
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- A natural at inspiring and motivating others and believe passionately in what we're doing
Content Creator
role summary
Create weekly content that brings our movement to life online. We're on a mission to grow massively in 2026 and reach new audiences across the UK — and we need creative people to help make it happen. You'll work alongside the Media Lead within an existing content strategy, but your ideas and creative input are genuinely welcome. If you want to put your creative skills to work on something with real momentum behind it, this is the role for you.
What's involved
- Creating weekly graphic content including memes, campaign graphics, and infographics
- Producing short form video content, reels, stories, and pieces to camera for Instagram
- Creating interactive content including polls, question cards, and carousels to drive engagement
- Repurposing content for different platforms
- Working to an existing content calendar while contributing your own creative ideas
- Collaborating with the media team to ensure content is on brand and on message
What we're looking for
We'd love to hear from you if you are:
- Experienced, creative and confident working across social media platforms
- Skilled in graphic design and short form video
- A confident writer with a good sense of humour and an instinct for what cuts through online
- Comfortable working to a brief while bringing your own ideas to the table
- Passionate about growing a movement to make a national impact
